Our Advent sermon series is called, ‘When Heaven Breaks In’. We always use these weeks to prepare for the celebration of Jesus’ birth at Christmas, and also to ready ourselves for His second coming. These are both moments when God’s rule intervenes in the normal life of the world. We’ll be thinking about how this happens at other times, in our lives and in the lives of our friends and neighbours. Please join us when you can, on Sundays or other times, and watch online (below).

Kingham Church - Roof Appeal

Firstly, THANK YOU to everyone who has already contributed to our appeal.

June 2025:
The church family of St Andrew’s want the church building to be more hospitable and functional and accessible to all. Before development work can begin there are necessary repairs to be made, especially to the roof. Most of the necessary repairs have been planned in detail – the expected cost is £480k. By the end of June 2025 we have raised a total of £264k (paid and pledged) and await the start-date of the first phase of roof repairs this summer. In the last month we are especially grateful for the award of £25k from the Garfield Weston foundation and the first meeting of a new fundraising team. The first news of future fundraising events will be publicised very soon, to start in early September. In the meantime, do look out for us at the Village Fete on 13th July!
